Carter woke up at 5:30am both Saturday and Sunday mornings, but luckily fell back asleep for another 2 hours in our bed after eating. On Saturday, he woke me up {for the second time} by crawling over and giving me a big, wet, slobbery, open-mouthed kiss right on my cheek. He then proceeded to laugh at me. I don't know about you, but I think that's a pretty good way to wake up :)
We then got ready for Carter's friend, Ethan's, first birthday party. It was a sports themed party and everyone was asked to where their favorite sports shirts. Here is Carter and I in our Phillies gear before leaving for the party...

Carter + ball pit + being outside = the best place ever!

On Sunday, Bob headed off to the Phillies game with Ryan and Scott, while Carter and I headed over to my sister and dad's soccer game. They coach a team of 11 & 12 year old girls and they are sooooo good- they're undefeated and in first place! Yesterday's game was against the second place team and, since Carter is their good luck charm, we just had to be there!
I brought all of C's toys to the game and a big blanket for him and I to sit on... but he was soooo happy just to be outside and watching the game, that I left him in his stroller.
As you can see, it was pure torture for him {notcie all SIX of his teeth!?!}

Why does my son always sit with his legs out and his toes pointed up?

He kept showing me his boo-boo. :( I don't know how a kid {that doesn't walk} ends up with a cut on the bottom of his foot. It showed up on Saturday night while he was playing on the floor. What the heck?

The girls played really well! The game ended in a 1-1 tie, which means that they're still undefeated and still in 1st place! Guess their good luck charm worked again :)

Kacy and my dad, coaching!

After the game, we all headed back to my parents house for a BBQ.
Ben loves corn-on-the-cob...

The boys got matching PJ's from my mom! They look cute, but they're always up to no good ;)

Paused for a picture...

...and kisses...

...and hugs! I think Carter has had enough!

Annnnd back to no good! Love Ben's face here...

Hi Carter Man!

Ben hiding under the living room table...

Miss Grace... being a good girl :)

When we got home, Carter decided that it wasn't bed time and proceeded to crawl around on the floor til 10:30pm! Whew... Bob and I were falling asleep, lol. Carter always looks at us through the holes in our coffee table {this is after he removes the baskets from the table.... and everything in them.} I know this pic is blurry, but I thought it was so funny!

Those close-up shots of Carter smiling are crazy-cute, Jenni!!!
Great pictures! Deacon has those PJs. I think they're his favorites [he sleeps super well when he's wearing them!]
