So, although these pictures will be used for our Christmas card this year, I don't plan on wearing Christmas colors. I feel like, when you wear all red and green clothing, you really can only display the pictures at Christmastime. Know what I mean? So I decided to go with a brown & blue theme... two of my favorite colors {especially together!!} I found the perfect sweater for Carter Man and then planned everything around that one item. Here's what I came up with so far:

I still have to go back out tomorrow to get the blue and brown striped shirt and exchange the cabby hat {I got a size 24m and it's too small... shocker.}While trying to decide what Bob and I would wear for said pictures, I came up with the idea of me in a cream sweater and Bob in a blue either sweater or button-down shirt {I think??} I was excited to find an adorable cream sweater at Express. No, it's not a maternity shirt, but the thing about Express {that most mama's don't know} is that most of their sweaters and tops are fitted but long. So they end up looking adorable on pregnant women {especially tall pregnant women} because they stretch over your belly and are still long enough so it's not hangin' out the bottom. YAY!

I still have yet to go through our closet and find something for Bob to wear. I'll do it tonight, because I plan to head back to the mall tomorrow night to exchange C's hat and pick up his shirt. Hopefully they have the right sizes!
Now I need your help:
What color do you think Bob should wear? Blue? Brown? Cream? I put a poll on the side, or feel free to post your thoughts in the comments section! And I voted for Bob in a brown sweater. I like the idea of you each wearing a (different) solid color and Carter being a mix of the two.
I think I would put Bob in blue. Such a cute sweater for Carter! I, too, am a huge fan of the brown and blue. ;-) We just had family portraits taken and I wore a cream sweater with brown pants, hubs wore a brown sweater with khaki pants, and baby boy wore brown cords with a striped sweater that had brown, cream, tan, orange and light blue. The combo looked AWESOME, especially with the fall colors in the background. Which reminds me, I still need to post some to my blog. :)
