Victory!

Lately, Carter has been getting so frustrated when he plays with the toys that require some patience {putting puzzles together, building his train tracks, etc.} He throws a fit when he can't put it together right away. So Bob and I just help him with the task at hand and encourage him a lot, making sure to say things like "you can do it!" and "don't get upset, buddy." Then, when he does it, he gets HUGE cheers from both mommy and daddy.

Well, because of this, he has started doing the cutest thing EVER. While putting his Thomas the Train tracks together last week, we've noticed that he's not getting as frustrated and he just keeps at it until he gets it. Then he gasps, puts his arms up in the air {as if to say "victory!"}and, with the biggest smile on his face, he claps and cheers for himself. Every. Single. Time.

It makes my heart melt.

On Saturday morning, I captured it with my camera, but I knew I had to try to get it on my Flip as well {which I couldn't find fast enough every time he did it.... grrrr.} I finally put my Flip downstairs in the family room so that I'd be ready. Last night before bed, I got it. Although the video doesn't have the "arm's in the air victory" he usually does, it's still the single cutest thing ever. =)

So, here it is...my little man.

And the video =)

Love.
