My local Rita's stand opened up this week and I was so excited to get that first taste of heaven for the season. They even have a lot of new flavors this year, including "Swedish Fish" {which is a type of candy... for those that aren't in the East Coast/Philly region... I had no idea this yummy goodness was not available every where} "Florida Orange" and "PEEPS"... ya know, like the little marshmallow Easter candy that some people go crazy for.The three that are above in the picture are Swedish Fish, my all-time favorite- Mango, and a Mocha Ritaccino. Yum.
Carter even had some {okay, almost a whole small} and absolutely LOVED it. I think he must remember it from when I was pregnant with him and I ate gallons of mango water ice at a time...
...nah, that can't be it.

I LOVE Rita's!!! WE always get them at the beach and they were supposed to open one locally. Unfortunately that fell through so I have to wait till the summer again :(

Missing Rita's so much as a native Pennsylvanian now living in AZ. Must remember to stop by for one when next time I visit "home." Eat one for me the next time you go!
I had Rita's for the first time last year when visiting my brother in PA - we then had to go EVERY night we were there to get a gelati. BEST. THING. EVER.
This post made my day (and sealed my decision to make sure I go back for a visit to PA soon!)
