Who are you?
Honestly... I'd love to know! I get a decent amount of hits to my blog everyday and I'd just LOVE to know who all of you are.
The difficult part is... how the heck do I get you to comment? I get a lot of emails telling me how much they love my blog and how they're a "long time follower" that I've never seen or heard from before. That kinda makes me sad, because I would just love to know you back!
So, who are you, my silent {and not-so-silent} followers? Why do you continue to read my blog and is there anything you'd like me to talk about? Do you have a blog of your own that you wish to share? I'm always {always!} looking for new blogs to read, so please... link away =)
I'm also interested to see how many people have my blog linked to theirs! What's your blog about? Are you a parent? Pregnant? Looking to start a family soon?...
Don't be shy... talk to me, people!
PS- I shaved Carter's head last night. It took 3 of us to hold him down {in addition to 2 different cartoons, candy, and Cheez-its} so that I could do it. After the screaming session was over, he got 2 cookies and got to go in the pool. He was slightly traumatized, but got over it rather quickly ;) Pics to come...

I have some of the same questions! I think you know me though :)
I read...and I think I've maybe commented once. My system of commenting fails me most days because there are just not enough hours in the day!
I was wondering the other day how I even found your blog....no idea. I have been following you since you got pregnant with Brynn. My DH and I have been trying to get pregnant. One miscarriage and hoping for a sticky baby in 2010.
I love your blog because you are real. You are a normal young mother.
Here is my blog postsest041208.blogspot.com
It's a little bit of everything all mixed into one. =)
Hi!! :) I found your blog through another blog that I read. I started following when you were about 30 weeks with Brynn. I have commented a few times (especially with how cute your kiddos are). I am from MN and have a family blog of my own
http://believe-o-bethany.blogspot.com
You know who I am. ;)
I am a newer reader, and hadn't commented until now :) Hello there! I am a parent and am expecting my 3rd child with my Hubbs of 4 years. I think your kids are adorable, and I love reading your blog. If you are ever bored you can find me here: http://spindlerfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/
I just recently started following. I will be a first time Mommy in December and it's been fun to follow another "real" mommy!
I too have a family blog, swing on over...

I am Crystal! I have been reading your blog for a loong time now. You are linked on mine, so I can see when you update. I am a parent too, to an 17 month old girl, Allie!
Hi! I found you through another blog. I genereally dont comment, for no other reason than I dont have anythign catchy to add. I am a Mom of 2 and had my most recent son in Feb. Here is my blog:
www.gogogadgetlegs.blogspot.com.
I will try to be better about commenting, because I wish I received more on my blog!
Hi - longtime follower, never a commenter - not sure why though! I think I first remember you on the nest because I also was married on 11/11/06. Then, I had my daughter on 8/20/08 (shortly after Carter). I saw you posting on the bump and then recognized your wedding pictures/date and knew you had to be the same person. And now, my second baby will be born on 1/10/11...so we are a little further behind on baby #2. Wow, that seems like a lot of history for never commenting before. Sorry! :)
Hey! I've commented once or twice. I found you through Erynn R's blog. My husband and Patrick were teammates in college. I kept reading because you have little ones. When I started it was just Carter. I have 2.5 year old daughter. I also work in higer education (staff, not faculty. Oh and my husband works here too!), at a university outside of Los Angeles... and I love it. I think the one thing that drew me to your blog even more is that I, too, work full-time and I work because I want to. I love your posts about how you choose to work and how it makes you a better mother. I agree and feel the same- 100%.

Id love for you to read although its not that interesting, but I still like to have it there just for me if not for anyone else. Youre fab! Keep it up!
Hi Jenni...I'm Jeannie!
::gives a hug::
I've stalking your blog since you were pregnant with Carter :-) and recently became an 'actual' follower. I love your blog for it's honesty and I find you hilarious! I also love just reading about your life as a working mom, a wife and dealing with every day things.
I have a one year old son and of course my very own blog :-)
I think I've commented once or twice but I am a friend on facebook too :) I've followed you since you we're pregnant with Carter after chatting a few times on thebump.
I love love love reading your blog because your Carter was (7-08) and my Kaleb was (9-08). You had Brynn (5-10) and my Kamryn was born (7-10). Both our boys and girls are 2 months apart. I love reading from someone who is going through EXACTLY what we are right now! Its like watching a preview of what we will be going through in 2 months in our house!
Also love the whole sister/mom relationship you have going. It reminds me of the way I am with my sister and mom. Our blog is
erickaanni.blogspot.com
Hi Jenni - I'm Dawn. I started following your blog over a year ago. I'm a fellow 'bumpie' even though I don't have much time nowadays to get on the chat boards(Deltadawn8). I love your blog. I enjoyed following your pregnancy - you were a few weeks ahead of me. I also really enjoy your honesty and your creative side.
I am a SAHM (possibly going back to work soon) of a 19mo old little girl, and a 2mo old little boy. They are amazing and I love watching them grow and learn.
I do have a blog 'Live well, Love much, Laugh often'. www.thewif10105.blogspot.com. It's mainly pictures of what we do and how my kids are growing. I am doing a weekly post of my sons growth for the first year of his life, I did it with Brianna and love to go back and read those. It's a great way to also keep up with out of state family.
-a loyal reader, Dawn
I was pregnant at the same time as you were with Carter and we were on the same boards on the Bump, my daugther Maizey was born 8/17/10 and that is how I found the link to your blog. Now instead of visiting the boards I just read your blog a couple times a week. I am currently pregnat with baby #2 and just love to read your blog because you make me laugh. I am currently debating blogging but don't know if I really have the time. Bur if you want to be friends on Facebook, my name is Mackenzie Fisher from Cedar Rapids, IA.
Sorry Ment my dauther was born on 8/17/08
We got married the same year and on the same fall board. We were pregnant together for your 2nd my 1st. I lost my son Aidan Christopher..... It's Maggie (Magdalina.h) I had to post it like that because in my head it was a 20 questions type of game. :-)
Started reading your blog when you were pregnant with Carter and I was pregnant with my son Henry. You also designed his first birthday invitation last year. He was born just a couple of days after Carter on 7/21/08. We're expecting baby #2 next week sometime :)
Hi Jenni,
I've been reading your blog since right before you revealed you were pregnant with Brynn. I think I found you through Erynn's blog which I found through someone else's blog, which I found through someone else's blog - you know how it goes.
Your blog interests me because you seem real. I enjoy reading about someone that has a nice life but isn't all gushy about it:). And finally, I like how much you enjoy being a working mom.
Hi Jenni!!
I don’t even remember when I started reading your blog but it has become one of my favorites! I think I saw the link on your FB page one day and took a look :)
I love your blog! You are so funny and down to earth and I love the relationship that you have with your sisters (reminds me of me and my sisters). Plus could Carter and Brynn be any cuter?!
I thought about blogging after I had Emma but don't feel like I have enough time with working full time and that annoying commute into the city everyday (I know you understand that ugh!) by the time I get home I crash. Maybe once Emma is a little older I will have more time ;)
I have to say that I'm not always a diligent commenter, but part of that is that I follow over 200 blogs, so I only comment when I have something to say that is relevant.. I am also guilty of having to speed read in google reader which limits my willingness to comment some days...
This is my first time commenting, I've only been ready your blog for a couple of months and I found you through another blog that I follow. I am a first time Mom myself and have a pregnancy turned mommy blog @ http://bandrplus1.blogspot.com
Feel free to come check us out.
I've always read your blog but I don't always comment. I found you when my husband and I first started trying back in February. You were pregnant with Brynn and I LOVED following your pregnancy journey :)
I'm an armywife and am 20 weeks pregnant currently, with a birth defect baby. This leads to many many doctors visits, ultrasounds, and specialists. And it doesn't help that my husband is overseas currently. But I'm making the best of it!
My blog is: http://whyhellosunshine.blogspot.com/ Feel free to check it out!
Hi Jenni, my name is Jenn, and I met you on the bump. I started following your blog when you were in your 2nd trimester with Brynn, and I was in my 2nd with Addison (my first DD). I really liked how genuine you were and I loved the busyness of your life, it sounded a lot like mine. I am brand new to blogging, but my blog is http://lifewithaddisongrace.blogspot.com/
I'm a fellow EFFer... But I'm a new mom, a military member, and a wannabe quilter. I'm new to the blogsphere... And I love to take pictures, but I'm by no means a hardcore photographer.
I like your blog because you're down to earth and funny... And I love learning from fellow mummies, because I really have noone to learn from (other than my mom)
Hi there!
My name is Censie (Kenzie). I first found your blog and your story on the bump - I log in as Hope, love, happiness. I havent been on that site in a LONG time. I had my baby boy on June 25th. My blog started while we were TTC, then went into the pregnancy and now the life of Jude (my son). I enjoy your blog because I like seeing other parents and growing babies! ;)
http://buildingourstory.blogspot.com/
Follow me people! :O)
I'm bad at commenting but I have done so a couple of times I think! I found you when we were on TB, though you were 1 tri ahead of me.
You designed my son's 1st bday invites yay :)
I have you linked to my blog, it's basically all about Jake lol
http://www.adventuresinmommyhood.net
i'm your sister.
I found your site through the bump - I had my daughter a few day's before Brynn was born. Enjoy your diatribes of Carter and Brynn as a fellow working mom.
I am a follower from Germany. I found your blog on my friend's blog and have been following ever since. I love your sense of humor, esp. during your pregnancy with Brynn. It always makes me laugh. I have a 10 months old daughter who I keep blogging about but I'm not sure if you'd understand what I write there. You're very welcome to visit, though.
Hi I'm Tisha! I've been reading your blog for a few years now. I was on the nest/bump boards but didn't really post to much. I was pregnant the same time you were pregnant with Carter. I had my daughter in July 2008.
I always think you would be someone I was friends with in real life!!! I guess thats why I follow!
I admit it! I am a mostly silent blogger. It is a bad habit and I am working on being more vocal.
Send a little love and get a little love, right?!? (:
haha Kacy! Jenni, that sister of yours is pretty funny....
Pretty sure you "know" me :) and since I only have a measly 7 followers I can see that you already follow me so thanks! I also link to you on my blog. I just joined Top Mommy Blogs, not to become a "top" blog, but looking for more traffic. I am hoping my preemie blog can help another preemie mom. I am petitioning TMB to have a "preemie mom blog" section. It would have been nice to have a resource like that when Jacob was born.
Jacob has 3 AWFUL cowlicks so we started shaving his head around 18 months and haven't stopped since. Since he broke his leg I haven't been able to cut his hair and now I remember why I started shaving it in the first place. The cowlicks are HORRENDOUS!
http://thelittlechickenwing.blogspot.com
Well, I stumbled upon your blog on thebump...I'm not a well known "bumper" though =\. I was pregnant with my second around the same time you were with Brynn - and I believe my oldest is a couple months younger than Carter.
I do have a blog...it's kmb0222.blogspot.com (sorry, I don't know how to link things...pretty new to the blogging world). It's not very interesting really, but I should probably warn you or anyone that goes to look at it, my son has had 2 open heart surgeries - I took pictures of him after surgery and when he turned 2 I did the whole "watch him grow" post and included quite a few gory after surgery pictures.
Hi jenni!
I found your blog through another blog I visit and I added you to my blog list. I am a mommy blogger and add other random things in there too:) I love your blog, I think we would be great friends in real life:)
Kelly
Hi Jenni--I'm also Jenni. I have a 17 month old son and am pregnant with my second. I live in Philly. A friend of mine sent me your blog because we had alot of similarities so I started to read you.
I have a blog, http://snakesnsnailsblog.blogspot.com/
i like to read your blog because you're down to earth and talk about babies. i like baby talk:)
i have a blog about my 2 yr old son, going green, crafting, etc.

You know who I am :)
I started following your blog from the Bump when you were pregnant with Brynn and I was pregnant with my daughter, Chelsea. I've never commented until now mostly because I only have one hand to type and it's just embarassing what happens when I do that. (Both kids napping at the moment for the very. first. time!) Love your blog! You can check out our's, Just Johnson's, at http://jmtjohnson.blogspot.com Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures and hoping to become a frequent commenter.
Hi Jenni, I actually somewhat met you on "the bump", MANY months ago. You had commented on some of my posts, I commented on some of yours. We were pregnant around the same time. I have 1 child, he was born 4/25/10. I saw your link to your blog and have been blog stalking you since. ;) I feel that I can relate to you (even though I haven't actually met you) and I can tell you are down to earth and just awesome! You can follow my blog if you would like... jsrackham.blogspot.com
Hi Jenni! I saw you on The Bump several months back (though I never posted or really stuck around that long). Our kids are very close in age - my one son is 16 months & my other son is just a few days older than Brynn (5/18/10). I love your blog; you're so down to earth & I can relate to all of your posts. Anyways, I do have a blog, though I *just* started it (literally 2 days ago)...
http://mommysheartstrings.blogspot.com/
I read and think I have commented every once in a while. Seannon from the bump- we were pregnant the same time. I am just starting into the blogging world!
twodudesandadiva.blogspot.com
I think you know all the answers about me...but I'm dying to see Carter!!!
I follow you! I "met" you on the 2006 Fall Brides board (I'm OregonPachey) and have read your blog since you were pregnant with Carter.
I have a blog but it's terribly uninteresting:
http://rachel-babymakesthree.blogspot.com/
Hi! My name is Teresa. I'm from MN and have a 4 year old son and a 6 week old daighter. I found your blog while on the bump. I read your blog because your a real mother who blogs about real-life event.
When my son was 6 months old, we accidently locked him in the car while it was running...had to call the cops who then broke my window. Trials and tribulations of parents :)
I found your blog on Top Baby Blogs ... I'm expecting my first baby in October and love reading other mom blogs!
Feel free to follow along ...

Hi Jennifer! I don't have a blog but I do read a lot of blogs. I work in an office and sometimes it can be boring and/or slow so I like to read blogs to keep myself entertained and pass the time. Thru Matt Logelin's blog I found Erynn Rooney's blog; which led me to yours thru her blogroll. I started reading yours here in the last couple months and I find it entertaining, interesting and funny! You seem like a really nice, bubbly person!
Look at alll these comments!!!!
I started following your blog shortly after you started it with Carter, I used to get on the nest alllllll the time! And found you on there when you ordered the super cute hat for Carter I had to have on for my DS ( Lane, who will be 2 9/28), And than I emailed you about ordering it again for DD. I dont know if you remember or not..I have a blog but I am not soo good about posting new post! I tend to stalk everybodey elses! ha but we finally joined the rest of the world and finally got a laptop! So maybe I can get more blogging done!
I am an awful commenter but I LOVE your blog! I found it through The Bump. I think it was linked through another blog I was reading.
I have a blog talking about my pregnancy and now motherhood. Addison is now 3.5 months old. http://amyberos.blogspot.com. It is basically my venting station and keeps my family and friends in on whats going on since I am an awful phone call returner:)
Your blog is awesome because I feel like I can relate to you. Keep doing what you are doing!
Hi Jen,
I first met you on the Knot. We were both having our reception at the same place. I emailed you about the florist and followed your advice :)
I came across your blog when you were pregnant with Carter and I have been reading ever since.
I am also the crazy person that approached you in Kohls when you were pregnant with Brynn. I thought it was you, I just wasn't sure at first.
I enjoy reading your blog because I feel like you are easy to relate to.
Hey Mama-
I have no idea how I found your blog, but it cracks me up and I'm hooked. We have 2 babies that are each a few days a part (except I have 2 boys) so many times I feel like I'm reading about my own kiddos when you I read what you say. Oh, and you make fabulous invites for me too!
I'm a generic blogger (www.theadventuresintyandaceland.blogspot.com)too!
I read all of your post just hardly reply.. Sorry for that I will do better..
I'm Lacy I have three boys (3 1/2 years, 1 1/2 years, 6 months).. I do blog my self at www.littlesoupfamily.com
Hi Jenni,
I've followed your blog for about a year - got linked up to you through "all things G & D." I really enjoy your blog b/c I have a Carter of my own, born 7/16/08! Fun to read about milestones and just day-to-day life. No blog for me, too busy keeping up w/others - I love looking at your list of favorite blogs - they're all great!
Amy
Hey Jenni! I've been following you since you were pg with Carter. I found you on the nest :-) I look forward to reading your blog a few times a week because I feel like we're "friends" in a way! LOL! You designed my daughter Lillian's baptism invites earlier this year!
I had Brock in October of 08 and just had Lillian in February this year. We have a lot in common. The first being that we're major Wine-o's! Yum. Secondly we're both working moms of 2 kids. I can identify with so much that you've got going on. I envy your close relationship with your mom and sisters!
I also love when you get family portraits! Your photographer is amazing! Also, every time you go on vacation I feel like I went with you because your pictures tell a great story :-)
You're linked on my blog: http://1st-time-parents.blogspot.com Its a little of everything, but I try to focus on my journey of parenthood, cloth diapering 2 under 2, making my own babyfood, etc.

Hi Jenni,
I'm a mother of two. My daughter, Autumn, is almost five years and my son, Ethan, is just over three. We are trying for our third and if we're lucky by next summer we'll have a new little bundle;) I started following your blog just after your daughter was born and find it rather funny...I still can't believe you haven't been sick since you were 10!!! I wish I didn't catch all my kids illnesses. I'm sorry that I don't usually comment but sometimes there isn't much left to say, you really cover all the bases. You have a fabulous blog and I'll definitely continue to follow as your beautiful children grow.
Found your blog after I ordered my son's first birthday invites from 9 designs and have been reading it ever since! Our sons were born on the same day and our daughters are about 6 weeks apart so we have a lot in common! I like reading your blog because we both work and are at similar places in our lives so I always feel like I can relate to what you are saying!

Hey Jenni! My name is Jenn, and I remember you from South Jersey Knot. I did't post too much, however, lurked a ton from my job and remember seeing your planning bio. I came across your blog at some point on the bump and remembered you from the knot, so I began reading. I have twin boys (19 months), and also live in South Jersey.
I've been following your blog since the tri boards in 2008. I have a DD Lauren who is almost 2. My SN is littlelamb99.
I SAH so I like to read your blog and see how you are juggling sooo well with 2U2.
I am going to have an only so it's neat to read about your experiences. I know I'm a better mother to one child so I'm at peace with our decision. It still is fun to read about others experiences!
I found your blog on the bump or the nest or whatever they call it now. I was pregnant about the same time you were pregnant with Carter. My son was born in October though. You made Brandt's first birthday invite (Curious George). I LOVE your blog and check it daily for updates. I started blogging once Brandt was born. Our family lives about a 1000 miles away, so it's the easiest way to keep them up to date.
http://b-humphrey.blogspot.com/
You are on my blog list. :)
Thanks so much for continuing to blog. I know it's difficult to with one baby...can't imagine trying to do it with two.
Take Care!!
Hi! I'm Kristin. I noticed your blog link in your posts on the Bump last year-- my daughter Bridget was due a few weeks after your Brynn (although she surprised us by coming 4.5 weeks early!). I'm a first-time mom and I also live in NJ. I enjoy your sense of humor and light-heartedness... being a mom is a lot of work but you seem to have the right approach! Keep up the good work. :)
Hi!
I found your blog through the Bump/Nest. I was due 2 months after you. My son will be 2 in Sept. I also live in NJ. You also created my son's 1st b-day invites through your Etsy shop. I like reading about your children, especially since our sons are close in age.
Christina
I discovered your blog on the bump. I think its interesting because we both have sons named Carter and you had the exact due date as me with our second. However, my second was also a boy! I ended up having my son on May 25th.
Hi Jenni,
I found your blog on The Bump - Brynn and my little girl Peyton were born a few weeks apart (Peyton was born on 6/7/10). As a first time Mom, I enjoy reading your posts for your helpful tips and also feel like I can relate as I'll soon be a working mom as well.
Hi Jenni - I'm Jenna. I read your blog all the time, but never comment because honestly I sort of felt weird. I was pregnant with my first baby (Michael) when you were pregnant with Brynn - In fact, we were due the same day I think, but I found your blog through your posts on The Bump (I'm UKMom1). I always appreciated your comments, because we shared similar views and enjoy your take on motherhood and parenting in general. Keep up the great posts. It's really nice to see a realistic perspective of being a parent.
My name is Allie and I have been following your blog since you were pregnant with Carter, my son was born just a week after yours on July 25, 2008. I have an older daughter who is 4 and a new baby girl who is 6 months old. I love reading your blog and seeing what it is like for you to raise a two year old boy too.
Hi, Jenni! My name is Julie - I found your blog through The Bump when you were pregnant with Carter, and I was pregnant with my son, who is also named Carter! And I also live in South Jersey!
I have a blog but it's mostly just pictures of my son - www.julieandrichard.blogspot.com.
I've never commented but probably b/c I never comment on blogs! I check them quickly at work so normally don't have much time :-)
I try to leave comments! I know you from the bump (I'm mjcleve) and I like reading your blog because your kids are about the same age as mine so I can totally relate to a lot of things you have to say. You can check out mine at...
http://mjcleve.blogspot.com
Keep up the good work! I know it's hard to find time to blog when you're working with two kids.
Holy smokes you have a lot of followers girl! I am another who found you through a blog I read. I read a lot of blogs once, but only about 30 or so regularly. I love how real you are. I work full time and have two little girls, 3 1/2 and 18 months. They are 22 months apart, just like your two! :)
I'm related to Colin Moorhouse, whom your blog is tied through with his wife Courtney and my Godson Conner. I live in MD with a son that's a year older then Carter and my blog is basically about our family life :)
I found you through the bump as we were pregnant with our first at the same time-my son is 3 weeks younger than Carter. Now I have a daughter 2 weeks younger than Brynn too. I enjoy reading since we are in a similar parenting situation and until last December we lived in Westchester, NY so we drove through your neck of the woods all of the time to see family in Wilmington.
I keep a blog too but it is mostly an online journal for all of our family back east as we relocated for my husbands job in December to California.
I started reading your blog when we both were on thebump.com (then the nest). Carter is a few months older than Nicolaus. Then we both returned and were pregnant with our girls at the same time too! I have a link to your blog on my blog. Mine is mostly for family, though I would love to have it evolve into something more some day.
Dude, I feel like I've known you for a long time. I met you on the bump, which I no longer go to at all. RIP Bump
But I'm glad I found you before I got off of there ;)
I haven't left a comment in some time, but I used to try to be pretty good about it. I'm Becki, and I found your blog through the Nest/Bump. I was pregnant with my son when you were pregnant with Carter. My son was born two months later. I'm originally from PA and just recently moved back, and my family is also HUGE baseball fans, so I've always felt connected in that way with you guys being such huge Phillies fans.
I do have a blog {I actually emailed you about Y3W over a year ago} although it is kind of lame at the moment {http://teamabccba.blogspot.com/}, and I would love to have you as a follower.
Hey Jenni, D.... I'm the one and only Rambo!!! :)
Hi Jenni,
I found your blog through the bump. I have one son who is almost two and another who is two months, so I enjoy seeing what life is like for another mom of babies close in age. I also have a family blog at http://hicklefam.blogspot.com.
~Jill
Hey Jenni,
I think I first saw you posting on the DE Weddings Board in 05. We were married on 8/6/05. I think thru the Nest I found your blog. We don't have any children, but I am fascinated by couples that both work full time and manage to have children and make it all work. We do hope to have a baby some day, and I hope I have your sense of humor about it!
-RLB
I'm Shaun :)
You and I were a week apart on our due dates with our girls so we were on the same boards on The Bump. I'm 99.99999% sure I had my baby a week late, on your baby's due date!
I followed you through your link in your siggy on the boards, and have been following since our 1st trimesters.
My blog's definitely nowhere near as good as yours, but here it is:
http://themcbabyadventures.blogspot.com/
Thank you so so so so much everyone!! I just LOVE this!!!
=)
Hi there!
I have no idea where I found you, but I've been reading for a long time! I stalk message boards when I'm bored at work and you're one of the few blogs I still follow - you're very down to earth, unlike many other bloggers out there!
I have an 8 week old daughter and I like reading about Brynn because she's a little bit ahead and I get to see what's coming up :)
Hi Jenni!
We "met" on the Fall 2006 board - I was married just a week before you, on 11/4. I love reading about your beautiful little ones; I'm so happy for you. :-) If I recall correctly, I found your blog through Erynn's.
DH and I have three angels in Heaven, and I'm beyond thrilled to report that I'm 32 weeks along with a baby boy. (Isn't it funny that you, Erynn, Rachel and I will all have had sons first? There must have been something radiating from the computer screen that autumn . . . )
Hey! We "met" on the nest / bump / whatever back in '07, I think, when we found out we were PG a couple weeks apart. And we're FB friends. And Phillies fans :) I would love to get the kiddos together IRL one of these days!
