{raspberries for mommy}We talked to the doc about starting solids soon. We actually have tried giving Brynn some rice cereal last week and she wasn't all to thrilled about it. She did get very excited over the spoon though. I figured we'd try again at 5 months and go from there. The pedi just said that Brynn seems ready, so whenever we're ready to start, we can try rice cereal {again} and stage 1 fruits and veggies.
{my big girl sitting up!}She looks "perfect" as the pedi said... she has reached all her 4 month milestones and then some. She also got 5 shots today in her super chubby thighs {that are apparently perfect for needles... the nurse was a little to excited about them.} And she took them like a trooper. It still breaks my heart though...
Now for the stats:
Weight- 20lbs 10oz {off the charts... still.}
Height- 26in {95-97%}
Head- 43.5cm {90%}
Wow. I keep telling everyone that Carter was bigger than Brynn, but not so much. I just looked back at Carter's 4 month check-up post {ya see, that's what's good about having a blog... when I forget something, all I need to do is find the post} and he was "only" 20lbs 6oz at the same age. Carter was an inch taller than Brynn though.
I love me some big babies.

I lovr brynnie's little face blowing raspberries! My LO born 5/20 was at 26 inches at her 4mth appointment as well. Just about 15lbs and we just put her in size 3 diapers today. We are doing the SImilac Sensitive liquid now too.. Have you ever used the concentrate?
Actually, Jess- my MIL had to buy the concentrate this week b/c the ready-to-feed was all sold out! Brynn still likes it the same as the RTF.
Um... and have you noticed the price cut on the RTF b/c of the recall?? We're buying cases of it b/c it's down to $3.75/bottle (instead of $6.24!)
She's adorable. Glad she's so healthy :)
And here's something funny to think about: I was looking through my baby book the other day (bedrest leaves you struggling to find ways to occupy your time...) and at my 1 year checkup, I only weighed 18 lbs!!

Awwww, I love her. She is just beautiful. I don't blame the nurse for being excited about her thighs. That is really the only thing that is finally "chunky" on Brigham and I'll admit that I nom on them sometimes. I can't help it.

@ jenni - yes - we just switched and cannot believe the price difference, I had to buy the concentrate because the RTF was sold out at Walmart last night. I need to stock up as well.

Awww! Brynn looks so beautiful and happy in those pics.
What a cutie! She'll be double Sydney's size in no time! We had her 4 month appt on Thursday and the little peanut was only 12lb 14.5oz. I haven't figured out how my kids start out huge and turn into little runts! :)
