Yes, this Sunday, my baby girl is getting Baptized. And on her 5 "monthiversary" at that. =)I feel like it was just yesterday that we were doing this for Carter. Getting him dressed in his little white {barely-fitting, but actually a 12 month outfit on a 4 month old} suit. Taking him to the church and having him Baptized in front of our closest family and friends. Yep... feels like yesterday {is it just me or is it going faster with #2, mamas!?!?}
Though I'm kinda freaking out that the party is at my house after the Baptism, I'm also looking forward to having everyone over to celebrate. We're going to have so much yummylicious food to eat {what diet?} and, though it's a ton of work, my house will be perfectly spotless. Bob and I have worked so hard to get all the projects done and clean everything out. It feels so nice {when it's done.} You better believe I'll be taking house pictures after I finish cleaning today. My house will never be this clean again.
I took the day off today to run errands, buy the food I have to make, and give the house an overall good scrub-down. My mom and sister are coming over tomorrow night to help me set up, decorate, and get any food ready that we can. Then they're coming back Sunday morning to help me as well :) The Baptism starts at the church at 12 and then we'll come back here for the party {no worries... we'll have the Eagles and Phillies on everyone!}
I wanted to quickly show you the invitation I designed for the occasion. I just love it {especially the color!} No worries, this is fake info... we don't have enough food for all of you. ;)
