Your Three Words

Well, score one for Team Bob.

We had decided about a month ago that we weren't going to exchange presents this year for our anniversary, but rather just go out together on Saturday night to a movie and dinner {at our all time favorite place.}

Perfect.

Earlier this week, Bob asked me if I got him an anniversary card. I hadn't. I just didn't have time to stop at the store, so I told him don't worry about it... I mean, it's just a card, right? Who really cares?

Last night, after we gave the kids a bath and were getting them ready for bed, I headed up to our room to get a towel and what did I see on my dresser?

Do you remember those beautiful vintage diamond earrings I got for Christmas last year? The earrings that I absolutely LOVE? The earrings that I immediately looked up online to see if they had a matching necklace? Well Bob remembered. And he found it. And he bought it for me for our anniversary.

Again- Sweetest. Gift. Ever.

And no, I didn't even get him a card. Oops. Now I kinda feel bad.

Well anniversaries are more for girls anyway, right?
