So, yesterday's pictures with Santa were... interesting, to say the least. Carter was SO excited to go see Santa. The entire car ride he was telling us that he was going to ask him for "a cool truck!" for Christmas. He was ecstatic as Santa arrived when we were waiting in line. He screamed "Hi Santa!" while jumping and waiving. He looked at him lovingly from the confines of the long line. He smiled while Grace and Ben sat on his lap and told him everything they wanted for Christmas. It all looked so promising...
Until we sat him on Santa's lap.
Brynn's like "why are you crying, Carter?"
And my fav...
Poor Carter Man. {Was it wrong that I was laughing?}
We decided to stop torturing our son {for our own enjoyment} and have some pictures taken of sweet Brynn with Santa.
Pretty girl!
Hopefully next year, Carter will actually be able to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas.
And then Brynn will be the one screaming, I'm sure.

Priceless. I think they even top last year's.
I would have been laughing too! Poor Carter...
I was thinking we'd get a screaming Henry for our Santa photos, but instead we got a terrified, no tears, look instead! I'm not sure what one is better?!?!
Those pics are too cute!!!
We don't even have a pic of our daughter on her second Christmas. She bit my shoulder and actually drew blood when I tried to put her on Santa's lap. She was fine the following year and now at age 5 wants to visit him everytime we go to the mall;)
Oh Lord. That is AWFUL that he is so scared! And this just reminds me of why I'm not taking Landon to see Santa. I know it will be another disaster just like last year :)
I can't wait we are taking Lexie on Friday!!! Btw "your" Santa doesn't look too happy either!!!! And I think it's hard not to laugh when kids scream at the oddest thing... ie Lexie's 1 month pictures :)
I'm positive we'll get a pic just like this (minus an adorable little girl) when I finally force DS to visit Santa. I'll be laughing too!
P.S. Is it just me or is that the least enthusiastic Santa you've ever seen? He looks like he hates his job!
Poor Carter, I'm not sure who looks more miserable Carter or Santa.
It's so true girls... Santa hates his job. I think he had a few too many candy canes the night before...
Love it! Had the same problem with my little bugger. Someday we will have to pry them off of Santa's lap to let the other kids have a turn!
Oh that made me laugh. And then it made me feel bad for laughing :)
Do any babies like Santa? I think not. =D
That look on Santa's face is amazingly priceless. He looks so unenthusiatic! LOL.
if i were that santa i would be making the same face. except worse.
that being said- pictures of miserable crying babies on santa's lap make me happy.
Oh. My. Goodness! :D I love how Brynnn was just innocently staring into Santa's face while her "big" brother was freaking out! Hopefully next year will be better ;) And if not, these types of pictures are pretty priceless.
Oh man! Poor Carter! But it sure is funny :-) I'm sure he'll appreciate you posting these when he's older! LOL!!
Aww! I love Santa pictures. I am doing a I See Santa! picture blog hop. I would love it if you would add this post to the linky!
Have a great day!
