{week 5 on the program}
With that said, my total weight loss for month 1 is...
The plan itself is simple. 5 Medifast meals a day and one lean and green meal. You really only have to think about what to eat for your L&G meal... everything else is planned for you, which is what makes it so amazing. I pack four Medifast meals in my work bag everyday {usually- eggs for breakfast, shake for snack, soup for lunch, and a PB Crunch bar for snack} and then eat a healthier version of what the fam is eating for dinner {meat and veggies- smaller portions, no/low carbs} and have a Medifast brownie for dessert. Yep... simple.
Now while I admit Medifast is easier than other diet plans, it is not easy. If dieting was easy, than everyone would be skinny, right? It's hard. Really hard. You have to stay motivated and make smart choices. I think I do pretty well with that, but it is tempting to eat whatever fabulousness everyone else is eating instead of soup or a low-carb/healthy dinner option. I want french fries, damn it!
But I am so happy with where I am right now. And how motivated I am to lose the weight this time around.
For those of you that read anything I just wrote... thank you. And for those that are skipping right down to the summary, here it is...
