Medifast | Week 16
Is there anything worse then being right on the cusp? I'm on the cusp of losing 25 pounds. I'm on the cusp of being in the next 10's below where I sit on the scale right now. On the cusp. Cusp. Cusp. Cusp. {Have you mentally spit all over your keyboard yet?}
It sucks. But you know what else it does? It motivates me. I can not wait to hit the 25 pound mark. I can not wait to hit a number on the scale that I haven't seen since right after my wedding. And I'd say I'm pretty damn motivated to get there. This week.
Let me tell you a little story.
The other day, I walked into the kitchen at work to cook up some Medifast chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. As I opened the door, I saw our office custodian, Louise,
So, now that you know a little bit more about Louise, here's how our convo went...
L: Are you on a diet?
J: Yes! I've been doing Medifast for a few months now and love it.
L: You look good.
J: :::speechless:::
L: How much do you weigh?
J: :::Ah, there it is.::: Well, I want to lose about 5-7 more pounds.
L: Don't lose too much, you might disappear.
J: Yeah, I just want to lose a few more L-Bs, then I'll be very happy.
L: Well you still look a little fat in your belly, so just try to lose there.
J: :::Oh, Lousie, God love you::: I guess that's what happens when you have 2 9-pound babies.
As if I needed more motivation.

You can do it! And you do look great!
Geez Louise! You look great!
hilarious.
i remember one morning she said to me "are you hungover you look terrible" i looked in the mirror and i was like "no, louise this is actually how i look everyday" she responded "oh"- i love her.
Ahhh...people with no filter. I work with several of those. They're always good for some entertainment as long as it's not pointed at you!
OMG, every office has one! LOL! You look great Jenni. It's weird how our problem areas change after kiddo's. I never had a "stomach" issue, pre baby did sit ups every day, now I need motivation and I feel like I still have a pooch, some days bigger than others..I blame the C-section, but the product of said C-Section just turned 3, I have no excuse! I also do Jillian and need to have her kick my butt again!
bahaha. hang in there. Gotta love people and their brutal "honesty" or whatever-the-hell you call it. lol. I hit 25lbs, felt so good...and then hit 35lbs...and now I cannot seem to get past 37'ish lbs of loss. I'm so annoyed that I've plateaued. Dammit, I have more to lose!! I hope you have better luck than me :/
LOL!!!! OMG that cracked me up! But HOW RUDE!!!
You look amazing!!!! Keep up the great work!
WTF? No seriously, what the eff is wrong with people? You have done and AMAZING job, Jenni. And for the record I thought you looked gorgeous before, during and after both pregnancies. With or without the diet ;)
