Medifast | Week 15
This week was rough. On so many levels. My goal for the week was to lose two pounds and, well... that didn't happen. I didn't lose anything. I kinda had a feeling it would go like that, as I found myself {on more than one occasion} without my Medifast food. I tried to be good, and eat healthy substitutes. I tried. And ya know what? I guess I did well, because although I didn't lose any weight, I didn't gain either.Now I've found myself in situations without my food before, and I was perfectly fine. But, like I've said before, these last 7 pounds are going to fight me. And boy are they fighting hard.
I talked to my Medifast Nutritionist, Matthew {who is so great and just had his first baby, a girl- Ava Sophia- so a big congrats to him!} about my struggle to lose the rest of this weight and he gave me some great pointers that I look forward to trying this week! He told me that I was right, and that the closer I get to my goal weight, the harder/slower it will be to come off. He also said that I should be mindful of my sodium and carb intake, and switch up my meals a bit, as my body seems to be anticipating my next move {I seriously eat the same thing everyday.}
I ordered a few different things for this month and I look forward to trying them. My goals for this week are to keep my body guessing by switching up my meals, watch my sodium and carb intake, drink a ton of water, and get back to exercising more.
Think I can lose those 2 pounds this week? Hey, I'll be happy with 1.
