So much so, that when I awoke from said dream, I expected the baby to be there next to me.
In this dream, I delivered the baby.
A beautiful, healthy baby.
It. Was. A. GIRL.
She was born on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
She weighed 9lbs 8oz.
She was 23in long.
I remembering seeing the time she was born as well, but I can't remember exactly what it was {I believe it was around 10ish in the morning or so, but I can't be too sure.} I also don't remember if I was induced {likely} or went into labor on my own. Those two factors are a bit fuzzy for me now.
I've had dreams about the baby before, but none have ever been this real. So, let's discuss.
All my dreams so far this pregnancy have been about a baby girl, so that's no big shocker.
As far as the birth date, our goal has always been to make it to Labor Day {i.e. 38 weeks} and September 4th would put me at 38w2d. But I have no idea why September 4th, in particular, was in the dream. Whenever anyone asks me, I always reply "no later than September 10th" which is 39 weeks. So the date itself, is somewhat random.
The weight isn't too far off from Carter. He was 9lbs 5oz at 38w0d, so that's quite possible.
The length? Hmm... the length is what's throwing me off a bit. However, I was 24in long at birth {yep, 2 feet tall, ha!} so I guess it isn't that unrealistic.
Could this be a premonition? I guess we'll see. I just wanted to write it down so that I can see how close it actually comes to being true.
Now watch me have an 8lb baby boy on September 10th :)

Hmmm.. When I was pregnant with Henry I had only boy dreams; my dreams were a premonition as we later found out he was indeed a BOY. With Harper though, I didn't have any girl dreams... Nothing. I can't wait to see if you were right; However, I think you may be off on he or she's birthday wrong...I think September

I had dreams w/both of mine...I actually had a dream that I was pregnant w/a little girl and was in labor two days before I tested to see if I was pregnant w/B. O's dreams were always about a blonde headed little boy...B's were always about a dark haired little girl....so she proved me wrong when her hair got light on me! ; ) I never dreamed about their sizes or birthdates...for some reason my dreams - they were around 2 years old when I gave birth to them! ; )

I kind of always wished I had a dream like this, but nope. And if I did I'd probably forget it anyway! 23" seems so freaking massive to me....hahaha, but then again so does 9lbs ;P

I am due a couple of weeks after you with #2. For awhile we thought it was a girl, but then I started dreaming about a baby boy and being drawn to boy clothes while shopping. We were surprised to find out we are having a boy!
So interesting with those exact numbers! I'm due sept 4th...so that sounds like a great date!
That's so crazy - I always have dreams that we're going to have two girls. So far we've got one right
