Hit me with your best shot.

You sang the song, didn't you?

I was over visiting the lovely Paper Mama {who I will get to meet at BlogHer! More on that later} and saw the "your best shot" photo contest. Although there are a ton of talented mamas entering, I figured... hey, what do I really have to lose? {um, besides the contest.}

I've always adored the picture of Carter Man that I took the morning of the first big snow fall of 2011. I take one of him like this every year {which you can see in the original post} and it's about as close as he will get to the snow {he's like his mama!}

I just love that he's looking out of the window in amazement at the way the snow has fallen and piled up on each of the tree branches. It's gorgeous.

So there you have it. One of my "best shots" =)

Multicolored

The challenge this week is "multicolored", so I figured I'd enter this picture of Carter from one of yesterday's Easter Egg Hunts {more to come on this!}He had so much fun... he was at the perfect age for an Easter Egg hunt and he did awesome! =)

Simple Beauty

I decided to enter The Paper Mama's Photo Challenge this week: Simple Beauty. As soon as I saw the theme, I immediately thought of this picture I took of Brynn last week...

I just love her chubby cheekers and the way she's not paying attention to me {as usual}... but most of all, I love her pretty little face and her gorgeous eye lashes.
